AR# 31226 10.1 ISE - Project Navigator "Generate IBIS Model" process does not run

Solution

When I try to launch the IBIS Writer through Project Navigator to generate an IBIS Model process on certain designs, the process running icon spins but nothing else happens.

A possible work around is running IBIS writer in command line.

This problem has been fixed in the latest 10.1 Service Pack available at:

http://www.xilinx.com/support/download/index.htm
The first service pack containing the fix is 10.1 Service Pack 2.
