AR# 31238 10.1 EDK - An XMD error occurs when I use EDK User Repository for custom pcores

The following error occurs when I start an XMD session for a design that contains a custom pcore in the user repository:

ERROR:MDT - Failed Loading Project, Check if MHS/MSS files are correct (Errors occurred while creating Hardware System)
ERROR:MDT - Failed to load XMP FileERROR:MDT -

To work around this issue, launch the XMD command line without including the "system.xmp".
