When I attempt to add my custom core from the IP Catalog list in the XPS GUI by either dragging the IP to the system assembly view or by right-clicking the IP and selecting add IP to project, nothing happens. I cannot seem to add the custom IP Peripheral into my project. How can this be done?
Custom IP cores must have version identifiers when used in the 10.1 tools, and the naming conventions for peripherals without version identifiers will not work correctly. Make sure that you have added version identifiers as described in the Peripheral Naming Conventions section of the EDK help topics documentation.
This will be fixed in a future revision of the EDK tools.
