When I create an SVF a .isc file to program a CoolRunner-II device and play it in iMPACT, I receive the following message:

"ERROR:iMPACT - Failed ScanDR: TDO does not match Expected TDO"

If I use a .jed file, the SVF will play successfully.

Solution

The work around is to use a .jed file to generate the SVF. This issue is with the SVF file generation not the player, and is resolved in iMPACT 10.1 Service Pack 3.
