Why does the following warning occur when I run simulation in ISim?
"WARNING:Simulator:648/559 - "unisim_virtex5_SMODEL_isim.vhd" Line %s. Instance gtp_dual_fast/gtx_dual_fast is unbound"
NOTE: Please do not ignore this warning. This will cause incorrect simulation.
The above warning occurs when the simulator is unable to find the model. ISim cannot find the model because 10.1sp3 does not contain the recompiled model.
To correct this issue, download the patch:
http://www.xilinx.com/txpatches/pub/applications/misc/10sp3_gtx_gtp_fast_model_patch.zipand unzip the file to Xilinx ISE install directory ($XILINX).
Example:If the XILINX environment variable is pointing to c:\Xilinx\10.1\ISE, the file should be unzipped to the ISE level.
This issue is not applicable to ISE Simulator in ISE Design Suite 11.
