Is there a better way to manage my memory resources when I select VxWorks as my embedded operating system?

This feature has not yet been implemented into the mainstream EDK tools, but it is being considered for a future release.

The archive listed below contains a prototype MLD file that is being considered. This works only with the PowerPC 440.

To use the MLD file:
1. copy the "C:\Xilinx\10.1\EDK\sw\lib\bsp\vxworks6_5_v1_01_a" directory into your project's bsp directory:
C:\<project_path>\bsp\vxworks6_5_v1_01_a

2. Download the following archive:
http://www.xilinx.com/txpatches/pub/applications/misc/vxworks_custom_mld.zip

3. Replace the "C:\<project_path>\bsp\vxworks6_5_v1_01_a\data\vxworks6_5_v2_1_0.mld" with the one found in the ZIP file.

The MLD file is now included in EDK 11.2, available at:
