When I connect to a Virtex-5 FXT FPGA with the Agilent Dynamic Probe, the core is not detected. What is the problem?

When I connect to my Virtex-5 device with ChipScope, my ATC2 Core is detected but cannot be accessed. Why?

Solution

To work around this issue, please update your Agilent Dynamic Probe Software to Version 03.70 or higher.

If you are having problems in connecting via the ChipScope Analyzer, then the issue is likely related to using EDK to generate your ATC2 Core. In this situation, extra assistance might be required. If so, please contact Xilinx Technical Support:
