I have a remote installation of ISE and I am trying to uninstall ISE from my local machine. After uninstalling ISE, all of the ISE installation files are still there. What did uninstalling achieve?

Solution

Uninstalling a remote installation of ISE removes only local installation information.

The results of an uninstall of a remote installation are:

- Deletes local registry entries
- Erases local shortcuts and program groups
- Removes local environment variable entries
