AR# 32254 11 EDK - Local Linux users and the need to set the global repository path

Keywords: global, search, path, repository, custom, core

In 10.1, I had an EDK design complete with custom cores. When I upgraded my design to 11, I received error messages complaining about my custom pcores. What do I need to do?

You need to set the Global Peripheral Repository setting in XPS:

1. Open an EDK project.
2. Select Edit > Preferences > Application Preferences.
3. Enter your directory in the Global Peripheral Repository data field.
4. Select OK.

This is only a problem when migrating from 10.1 to 11.
