11.1 ChipScope Pro Analyzer - Analyzer does not recognize Partial Bit files

Analyzer does not recognize Partial Bit files. I cannot configure my device through analyzer with these files.

Solution

In 11.1 and earlier versions, the Analyzer does not support any partial bit files. To work around this issue, use iMPACT to download.

In 11.2, the Analyzer supports partial bit files for Virtex-5 only. In the JTAG configuration dialog, select the checkbox for "Partial Reconfiguration Bitstream".
