I am attempting to assign a port to a site that is not ideal. I have turned off the option to "Automatically enforce legal I/O placement", but I am still not able to drop the I/O into the desired location in the package view.
Is there a way to do this within PlanAhead?
Solution
PlanAhead should allow you to place a port at any location when the option to "Automatically enforce legal I/O placement" is set. This will be fixed in a future release of PlanAhead.Meanwhile, to work around this issue, add the constraint to the UCF or CSV file imported into PlanAhead. PlanAhead passes the constraint on when you export or implement.
