AR# 32658 11.x/12.x iMPACT - Virtex-5 - Parallel Daisy chain files do not configure slave devices.

Files generating in iMPACT to target a Parallel Daisy Chain do not configure downstream devices. How do I work around this issue?

This does not affect all flows. The following flows will generate the correct command sets in the PROM file:

Use the BPI - Configure Single Device flow

Command line

The following command line will generate a correct file set:

promgen -w -p mcs -c FF -o output_file -bpi_dc parallel -u 0 device1.bit downstream_device_2.bit
