11.1 Constraints System - Period Constraint from HDL not propogating to PCF

Description

When trying to apply a Period Constraint in HDL, I find that it does not get propagated to the Timing Report and/or PCF. 

 

How do I overcome this issue?

Solution

This is a known issue and is scheduled to be fixed in the next major release of the software.  

 

The work-around is to apply a PERIOD Constraints in UCF.
