When will Virtex-6 FPGA Indirect BPI Programming be supported? Is it supported in SVF mode?

Solution

iMPACT Indirect BPI Programming
Indirect BPI Programming for Virtex-6 devices is supported in 11.2. for 1.1 and 2.0 Silicon. iMPACT JTAG programmig of the FPGA is also supported for ES0 and requires the CONFIG STEPPING in UCF to produce a ".bit" file for correct target silicon.

SVF Indirect BPI Programming
Indirect BPI programming is not supported in iMPACT 11.2. Attempting to create an SVF in 11.2 results in the following message in the console:
"INFO:iMPACT - '3781' : Boundary Scan File is not supported for BPI Device."

SVF mode indirect programming is added in iMPACT 11.3.
