The issue occurs when the block receives back-to-back TLPs and a packet is being written into the FIFO at the same time. Further, you would have to deassert trn_rdst_rdy_n during this time. It is recommended that you ignore trn_reof_n assertions that do not have an associated trn_rsof_n assertion.
A solution is being investigated for this problem.
