Licensing - Where can I obtain the license server utilities needed for floating licenses?
Description
The license server utilities are installed in the $XILINX\bin\<os_dir> as part of an ISE software installation. However, I would like to enable the Xilinx license(s) on a server that does not (or, for Solaris OS, cannot) have an ISE Design Suite installed. Where can I obtain the license server utilities?
Solution
The License Server Utilities (lmgrd, lmutil, and xilinxd) can be downloaded from the Xilinx Product Downloads website.1. Go to www.xilinx.com/download.
2. Select the Design Tools Tab and version 12.1 or later.
3. Click on the Download arrow next to the desired Linux, Solaris, or Windows platform under License Management Tools.
