Can the TPC Encoder target other devices beyond those listed on the Product Page (for instance, Virtex-5)?

Solution

The request for the netlist should be for one of the families listed. It may be possible to target other devices, such as a Virtex-5 device, but Xilinx cannot guarantee functionality or provide technical support in such cases. The recommendation is that the customer selects an alternative Xilinx turbo FEC IP core which supports the required device.
