The following error occurs when I run MAP with my design:
"FATAL_ERROR:Pack:pksrasliceplanner.c:5683:1.84 - No signal on pin S0 of frag dp/sfpu/addsub/blk00000003/blk000000fd. Process will terminate. For technical support on this issue, please open a WebCase with this project attached at http://www.xilinx.com/support."
Why does this happen?
Some cases have been seen where the -retiming option in MAP when used in combination with -global_opt speed causes this fatal error.
To work around the issue, unset the -retiming option in MAP.
This issue is under investigation for a fix in a future release of the ISE software.
