I am doing a Smartxplorer run using the Project Navigator settings and iterating through various cost tables. After the run is completed, I try to copy over the result of the first pass that met timing and when I do that I receive the following messages:

"ERROR: Could not determine cost table value from strategy name."
"INFO: Did not copy results for strategy CurrentProjectNavigatorSettings"

Why is this happening?

Solution

This is a known issue with Smartxplorer. Currently, it gives out the above error when trying to copy over the results of first run.

This does not affect all the other passes that have the CT extension.

This problem is being investigated for a fix in ISE version 12.1. In the meantime, to work around the issue, you have to manually copy over the options from that run.
