AR# 33386 11.3 CORE Generator - Licenses for certain free cores are now included in the software install

Starting with the 11.3 CORE Generator release, full licenses for the following cores will be available as part of the software install:

- RGB to YCrCb Color-Space Converter (RGB2YCrCb)
- YCrCb to RGB Color-Space Converter (YCrCb2RGB)
- XAUI
- Embedded Tri-Mode Ethernet MAC Wrapper (Virtex-4 FX Device Family)
- Virtex-5 FPGA Embedded Tri-Mode Ethernet MAC Wrapper
- Virtex-6 FPGA Embedded Tri-Mode Ethernet MAC Wrapper
- Endpoint Block Plus Wrapper for PCI Express
- Virtex-6 FPGA Integrated Block Wrapper for PCI Express
- Spartan-6 FPGA Integrated Block Wrapper for PCI Express

Solution

Starting with 11.3 CORE Generator, users will no longer need to generate a license for these cores. The license files will already be included in the software install. For earlier versions of the software, a license will still need to be generated for free on the Xilinx Web site:
