Why is the list of MATLAB versions blank when I launch the Configuration Manager (MATLAB Chooser) for System Generator?
The status is set to "Unavailable" and Location = "No versions of MATLAB were found on this machine. Click "Help" for more information.
Solution
This is because of a known issue in 11.3 and can be worked around as follows:
If you are updating from a version of System Generator which you have already associated with a version of MATLAB, it will still be configured for use in MATLAB and no action is needed.
If you need to associate System Generator with a new or different version of MATLAB, this can be done by using the "Add Version" feature of the Configuration Manager and browse to the MATLAB root directory (for example, C:\Program Files\MATLAB\R2008b) of the unlisted version.
The next time the Configuration Manager is run, it will retain the list of added MATLAB versions.
This issue is fixed in 11.4.
