AR# 33507 11.1 ISE - View Synthesis Report fails if Synplify synthesis fails

Description


If Synplify or Synplify Pro is set as the synthesis tool, selecting "View Synthesis Report" will fail if the synthesis process fails.



The failed Synthesis process will be marked with a "red" X.



However, at this point, if you double-click on "View Synthesis Report", Project Navigator begins the synthesis process again, and again fails to shows the report after running Synplify/ PRO again.

Solution


The Synplify report (.srr) has been successfully created and can be opened manually with a text editor.



This issue has been resolved in the ISE 11.2 update.
