In Spartan-6 FPGA, the MPMC VFBC write port misbehaves if only write commands are used, without reads. How do I resolve this issue?

Solution

To work around this issue, disable the read port of the VFBC. Alternatively, an additional reset can solve the issue.

This issue is planned to be fixed in MPMC v5.05.a or later, planned to be released in EDK 12.1.
