I purchased the SP605 board, but I did not receive an XBD file with the board.

Where can I find the Xilinx Board Definition (XBD) file for the SP605 board?

Solution

The SP605 board is targeted for the 11.4 versions of the tools. The SP605 XBD file can be found at: 

http://www.xilinx.com/txpatches/pub/swhelp/ise11_updates/xilinx_sp605.zip
 

  1. Download the ZIP file 
  2. Extract the contents of the ZIP file to: 
    $XILINX\11.1\EDK\board\Xilinx\boards 

The SP605 XBD file is scheduled to be released in version 12.1 of the software tools.
