Now, in order to add a VHDL source files to the libraries, two common methods are:

A) Right-click on the library where the file is to be added and select "Add Source" in the pop-up menu, and then browse and add the VHDL files.

B) Double-click on the library where the file is to be added and in the pop-up window, browse to the location of the files, select the files, and click open.

In method A, the user has the opportunity to select either Add Source or Add Copy of Source.

In Method B, Add Copy of Source is automatically selected.

When double-clicking on the library, users should be aware that the source files are being copied to the project location and the source file in the original location will not be referenced.
