My design fails in MAP with the following error which says that the I0 pin of this LUT6_2 instance is undriven due to trimming. I have examined the logic involved and it appears that the logic driving this pin is constant (rather than undriven). Should MAP not optimize the LUT6_2 to account for this without an error?

input pin I0 which no longer has a connected signal. Please ensure that all the
pins used in the equation for this LUT have signals that are not trimmed (see
Section 5 of the Map Report File for details on which signals were trimmed)."
