AR# 34575 12.1 EDK - Embedded Linux hangs on reset for the PowerPC405

Ibuilt a BSB system for Virtex-4FPGA with a PowerPC405 processor. After booting embedded Linux and then wanting to reload and restart the kernel, I have to power cycle the board, otherwise the kernel does not boot.

I find that a reset in XMD or a bitstream download does not reset the processor; the MSR register indicates the MMU is still active. A reset does not appear to be happening correctly.
