Description

When generating an IBERT core targeting Virtex-6 GTX FPGA, I see the following message in a pop up -

11.5 ChipScope - IBERT - The following error has occurred. Error: map failed on chipscope_ibert. ERROR:PhysDesignRules:1997 - The computed value for the VCO operating frequency of MMCM_ADV instance

These error messages appear in the Coregen console

Error: map failed on chipscope_ibert.
ERROR:PhysDesignRules:1997 - The computed value for the VCO operating frequency
of MMCM_ADV instance
ERROR:sim - Error: map failed on chipscope_ibert. ERROR:PhysDesignRules:1997 -

Error found during generation.

How do I work around this issue?

Solution
