AR# 35073 Correct attribute values are not passed on when "networking_pipelined" is selected

Description

The I/O wizard for Spartan-6 FPGA incorrectly sets the INTERFACE_TYPE attribute when NETWORKING_PIPELINED is selected.

Solution

When the radio button for NETWORKING_PIPELINED is selected, the wizard incorrectly sets the attribute to PIPELINED. This must be corrected to NETWORKING_PIPELINED beforethe design can be implemented. If the design is compiled as is, you will get the following error:

ERROR:Pack:2501 - Symbol "pins[0].iserdes2_master" of type ISERDES2 has a
property "INTERFACE_TYPE" with an illegal value of "PIPELINED".

This problem will be fixed with the release of ISE 12.3.
