With some designs, clock generator fails to launch without providing a proper error message. In some cases, attempting to launch clock generator will result in with a message similar to the following:
ERROR:EDK:3399 - There are error(s) with the clock configuration in the MHS file.
ERROR:EDK -
How do I resolve this issue?
If the wizard fails to launch when this error is seen, it does not necessarily correlate to a problem with the clock setup. The solution for this is to double check the clocking against the appropriate core's user guides and data sheets and hand edit the MHS or to remove the clock generator and re-add it.
This issue has been resolved in EDK 12.1.
