AR# 35343 11.x/12.1 - iMPACT - Crash occurs during Indirect Programming when using .ipf file

Description

iMPACT will crash when using an .ipf file generated by Project Navigator. This occurs during Indirect Programming operations on my BPI Flash. How do I work around this?

Solution

To work around this using stand-alone iMPACT, do not use an IPF.If using ProjNav and do not specify an IPF as part of the Process Properties. If using PlanAhead, remove impactdefaultproj.ipf and impactdefaultproj_xdb in the project directory before launching iMPACT. This issue will be resolved in iMPACT 12.2.
