AR# 35345 11.5/12.1 - iMPACT - Missing option for ''Add non-configuration data files'' in Spartan-6 MultiBoot PROM file generation

Description

When trying to generate a BPI MultiBoot MCS file for Spartan-6 FPGAin the iMPACTGUI, the "Add non-configuration data files" option in the third step is not available.

Solution

This is a known issue in ISE software 11.5 and 12.1, and itwill be fixed in iMPACT 12.2. As a workaround, you can use the promgen command line and the "-data_file" switch to add user data.
