Do Spartan-6 or Virtex-6 FPGAs support hardware CRC block the same as the Virtex-5 FPGA?
Solution
No, there are no CRC hard blocks in the Spartan-6 or Virtex-6 architecture.Users will have to implement them using fabric resources.
Xapp562 can be used to create the CRC logic compliant with IEEE 802.3.
