AR# 35417 12.1 ChipScope Pro - Virtex-6Q, Spartan-6Q, and Spartan-6Q LX/LXT devices are not supported in ChipScope Pro tools

Description

Virtex-6Q, Spartan-6Q, and Spartan-6QLX/LXT devices are not supportedin 12.1 ChipScope Pro tools. Targeting these devices can result in implementation errors similar to the following:

"ERROR:Pack:2811 - Directed packing was unable to obey the user design constraints"

Solution

Support for these devices will be added in ChipScope Pro 12.2.
