AR# 35418 12.1 ChipScope Pro IBERT - "Error-it's been over 5 sec and can't receive a core update yet."

Description

The following error occurs in Analyzer when carrying out a sweep test on some parameters for my board:

"Error-it's been over 5 sec and can't receive a core update yet."

How do I work around this issue?

Solution

This is an issue with the Analyzer time out.

To work around this error, change IBERT "JTAG Scan Rate" to or manual scan. Alternatively, entera smaller range of sweep for the parameters used and run multiple times to cover the full range. This issue is resolved in the ChipScope Pro 12.2 tools.
