Spartan-6 GTP Transceiver - Updates for Production silicon

Description

When moving between CES and Production Spartan-6 devices, attribute settings for the GTP Transceiver need to be updated. This Answer Record discusses which attributes need to be updated, the values to set them to, and which versions of the Wizard support CES and Production silicon.

Solution

For designs generated for CES silicon, the attributes discussed below can be modified either in the source HDL code or later in the implementation flow via FPGA Editor. The following table contains the attributes that need to be set differently between CES and Production Spartan-6 devices:

NOTE: The Production value is backwards-compatible with CES silicon.
