The simulation results from my PowerPC or MicroBlaze systems are not what I expected. What can be wrong?
Solution
The simulation flow in 12.1 has changed to use ".mem" files to initialize the block RAM in the embedded systems. An issue has been found in data2mem where it does not produce the correct ".mem files.This problem has been fixed in the following patches, but the fix is scheduled to be mainstream in the 12.2 software release.
To install the patches below, make a backup of the following files: $XILINX = C:/Xilinx/12.1/ISE_DS $XILINX/ISE/lib/ < OS > /libData2* $XILINX/ISE/bin/ < OS > /data2mem*
