This README Answer Record contains installation instructions and a list of known issues that are fixed in ISE Design Suite 12.2.
Installation Instructions:
ISE Design Suite 12.2 is a full software install and has no other software prerequisites.
Please go to the Xilinx Download Centerand download the ISE Design Suite 12.2 - 12.2 Full Product Installation.
  1. Untar the archive. For more information about tar files, see (Xilinx Answer 32818).
  2. Launch xsetup from the untarred directory and follow the on screen directions.

NOTE: There is a tactical patch available for SDK; see (Xilinx Answer 36777).
