When I run SmartXplorer in Project Navigator, a window appears with the following message stating that SmartXplorer is already running.
SmartXplorer is already running. Please terminate SmartXplorer using the Abort button in the SmartXplorer Results window to start another run.
However, there is actually no other SmartXplorer process running.
How can I resolve this problem?
If there is no SmartXplorer process running, it is likely that the process was stopped outside of Project Navigator.
The file Project Navigator uses to determine the status of the SmartXplorer process is smartxplorer.xml.
This file will be located in the smartxplorer_results directory under the project working directory.
Edit smartxplorer.xml and look for a line that starts with <programStatus>
Most often the status will be "Running" in cases such as these.
Change the status to "Aborted" as in the following line, then save the file and rerun SmartXplorer.
