The GTH transceiver supports line rate of 9.953 Gb/s to 11.18 Gb/s. The ChipScope IBERT core will only allow line rate selection of up to 6.6 Gb/s. Can I generate an IBERT core to work at rates higher than 6.6 Gb/s?
Solution
This is a limitation of the core in ISE 12.1 and 12.2 software. This issue will be resolved in ChipScope Pro analyzer 12.3. If you need to run at a higher rate before then, please contact Xilinx Technical Support - http://www.xilinx.com/support/techsup/tappinfo.htm
