AR# 37667 Virtex-6 FPGA -1L Industrial Grade Vccint Specification Change


On July 30, 2010, prior to the production release of the Virtex-6 FPGA -1L FPGA, the specification for VCCINT on -1L for Industrial grade changed from 0.9V to 0.94 nominal. The minimum and maximum specifications are copied into the tables below; however, please refer to the Virtex-6 FPGA Data Sheet: DC and Switching Characteristics, v2.8 (or later) (DS152) for official specifications:

Due to the changes in the specification, designers need to adjust their power supplies to accommodate the new specification. The power estimation tools will reflect these changes in ISE 12.3 software for the Xilinx Power Estimator (XPE), and ISE 12.4 software for the Xilinx Power Analyzer (XPA). Until those versions are released, designers can manually enter the new nominal voltage into the tools.
