How do I drive the host interface?

To communication with the host interface to read and write data, see the information below.

For writing to the DPD, a control mode trigger is required.

To read the host interface, provide the address bus.

To reset the coefficients (for example) perform the following:
  1. Write data 0x3 to address 1; --To reset coefficients
  2. Write data 0 to address 2; --Port number 0, there is only one path
  3. Write data 0 to address 0; -- Get ready to toggle the register
  4. Write data 0xABCDEF12 to address 0; --Toggle the register

For more information, refer to the DPD Host Interface Control Section section in the data sheet (DS767).
