If you encounter problems running the IP on the USB drive shipped with your Spartan-6 FPGA Connectivity kit, then you can find the netlist generated with a full license in the Reference Designs zip file on the Spartan-6 Connectivity Kit page:
http://www.xilinx.com/products/boards/s6conn/reference_designs.htm.
The Connectivity Targeted Reference Design, by default, uses the evaluation version of the DMA IP, which times out after 12 hours. To use the full version of the DMA, follow this procedure:
- Obtain a full DMA license as documented in the Getting Started Guide (UG665). This requires registration.
- After the full license is obtained, depending on the flow being used (script based or PlanAhead), modify the respective scripts to use the DMA netlist from 'ip_cores/dma/netlist/eval'. This requires path change and search directory path change in the scripts.
