AR# 38431 ML510 - Personality Module Connectors Pinout inaccurate in UG356

Description


In the ML510 Embedded Development Platform User Guide, UG356, (v1.1), the PM1 pinout is given in Table 1-40, while the PM2 pinout is given in Table 1-41. Table 1-40 states that PM1 pin F7 is connected to FPGA pin L26.Table 1-41 states that PM2 pin A16 is also connected to FPGA pin L26.
Which is correct?

Solution

The ML510 schematicscan be used to confirm the following:
  • PM1 pin F7 is connected to W7 on the FPGA throughsignal PM_IO_3V_23_N
  • PM2 pin A16 is connected to L26 on the FPGA through signal PM_IO_23_N

The schematic connections should be followed.
Tables 1-40 and 1-41 of the ML510 Embedded Development Platform User Guide (UG356) are scheduled to be updated with this information in the next version of the document.
