LogiCORE IP Video Scaler 3.0 - Why does CORE Generator crash when I try to load my COE file?

Why does CORE Generator crash when I try to load my COE file?

This is because of a bug in the Video Scaler v3.0 that causes the GUI to crash if the .coe file is formatted incorrectly.

Please see the Coefficient Preloading Using a .coe File section of the Video Scaler User Guide v3.0.

It should also be noted that the ordering of the coefficients changed in the COE file with the Video Scaler v3.0, in order to be consistent with the ordering used by the pCore driver files.

The Video Scaler v6.00.a uses a more robust .coe file parser and most of the parsing issues have been resolved.
