Description

Whenusing amixture ofuppercaseand lowercasecharacters inthe instance name ofa chipscope_axi_monitor, thefollowingerror occurs (in this example, the instance name is'Bridge2SPI_Mon')

Error Seen:Bridge2SPI_Mon is the new name of the monitor:

ERROR:EDK:1405 - File not found in any repository
'bridge2spi_mon_v1_01_a/synhdl/vhdl/Bridge2SPI_Mon.vhd'
ERROR:EDK:440 - platgen failed with errors!

How do I resolve this error?

Solution

Use only lowercase characters in the instance name of ChipScope AXI Monitor cores.

This issue is planned to be fixed in EDK 13.1.
