AR# 39632 12.4 System Generator for DSP - How do I enter multiple instructions in the DSP48 Macro v2.0 GUI with Windows 7 64-bit?

When I use the DSP48 Macro 2.0 GUI in System Generator to create a list of instructions, hitting "Enter" does not create a new line.

How can multiple instructions be entered in the GUI?

Solution


This issue only exists when using 64-bit Windows 7 OS. The problem does not occur when using 64-bit Linux, or any supported 32-bit operating system.

To work around the problem, use a comma "," to separate different instructions on the same line in DSP48 Macro GUI. For example:

A*B+C,(A+D)*B
