The compile is not reliable and I receive different errors in various stages of the compile errors, such as "cannot open file" or "cannot open for write," etc. (can never finish a compile when ChipScope is there).
The same project and design implement fine when in a local directory.
A few customers have reported intermittent issues when attempting to process a design over a mapped network drive. In most cases, the issue is producible and varies with network load and stability. One possible work-around could be to write temporary files to a local directory.
Try using the following environmental variable:
The TEMP variable also needs to be set to a local writable location.
This creates the project repository in the system TEMP directory (instead of using the project directory).
