When I use the IBERT Reset in ChipScope Analyzer tool on a GTH GT, it results in a incorrect value on the RX Bit counter. The counter value gets set to 1E16 and remains there. What is the issue here? Can I work around it?
This is a known issue that will be resolved in ChipScope Pro tool 13.1. In 12.x versions of the Analyzer it can be worked around by setting the cable speed to 12 MHz. If you operate the cable at this higher rate, it will not show the same behavior. The default speed is 3 MHz but the 12 MHz speed will be saved in Project settings once selected if you use a Project file (<project_name.cpj>).
