12.1 EDK - Can an EDK BRAM block be configured with different port width on 2 ports?

Description

Can an EDK BRAM block be configured with different port widths on 2 ports?

Solution

No, only 32-bit port width is supported.

To do this, you would need to use Core Generator to create the BRAM block and then make it a custom IP to work with the EDK system.

You might also need to edit the BMM file if the software application needs to be stored in this BRAM block inside the custom IP.
